The young adult Sunday School class consists of a group of young people ranging from college age to “about” forty. The group consists of both singles and married couples. This group meets each Sunday at 9:45am, and they study a variety of topics from Bible studies to studies by contemporary Christian writers. Although group members participate from time to time in leading the class, the regular teachers of the Young Adult class are Robin and Carl Weihing, and the current President of the class is Kelli Green.
In addition to meeting on Sunday mornings for Sunday School, this group also enjoys evenings out together eating, partying, and singing karaoke. The women of the group, who form the Tina Roberts Circle of Friends, make sure that they get together on a fairly regular basis to eat out together and enjoy fellowship.
The young adults also participate in scheduled volleyball games and pick-up basketball games in the church Ministries Center. Many of the young people also participate in a city-wide softball league during the summer months.
We always welcome new members to the group.
