Wednesday Night Bible Study

This Bible Study meets on Wednesday nights at 6:00 P.M. in the Joyce Hamilton-Garrett Classroom.   Everyone is welcomed.

On Wednesday, September 25th,  we began a new study, James W. Moore’s “Yes, Lord, I Have Sinned But I Have Several Excellent Excuses.”  Why is it, James Moore asks, that we try to justify anything and everything we want to do? We use words, scapegoats, blaming other people, circumstances, past events, even evil spirits (the devil made we do it!) to attempt to excuse bad choices we make with our free will.  Join us at 6:00 P.M. in the Joyce Hamilton-Garrett Sunday School classroom as Brother Jeff lead this very interesting and soul-searching study.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Eastlawn's Tuesday morning Bible study which meets at the Menagerie on Market Street at 7:30 A.M. is going strong even though three of our faithful "studiers" are dealing with infirmities.

We just finished a study of 2nd Samuel and are now beginning a study of Maccabees from the Apocrypha.  All are invited to come and join us for breakfast and a great study.
